It Is Enough....

At some point in life the world's beauty becomes enough. You don't need to photograph, paint, or even remember it. It is enough.   ...Toni Morrison

Change is in the air.

I can feel it.

I can hear it.

I can see it.

It is beautiful.

And,  for today it is enough.
I hope you find beauty in the world this weekend.

  1. I am finding beauty this weekend, as you obviously have, Bonnie. What I like about the Toni Morrison quote is it suggests we don't need to keep fiddling with things, that the beauty around us should be allowed to evolve in its own terms, giving us the chance to remember we're created beings ourselves, with our own tempo, not 'masters of all we survey'.

  4. We are having our first ever October snow storm. Yes, it is beautiful, but.....

Was not ready for this. Two days ago it was 68 degrees; we never even had a first frost. My pumpkin are covered with the white stuff now and it is disconcerting. I fear what lies ahead.

  5. Faisal...Absolutely. Toni Morrison has a way of making us strip things down, giving us a look at what is behind the makeup. As I celebrate the beauty of waning life, I believe you are in the midst of rebirth. Am I correct?

Arleen... I love snow, however we almost never have more than one or two snows a season. It sounds as if the ground maybe warm and the snow will not hang around for long. I hope you have a wonderful book to enjoy by a fire.

  7. Catching up on my blog reading. Wow, I think I would have been equally shook up about hitting a deer. They run so fast it probably came out of nowhere. I'm very glad that you and your friends are ok. I agree Fall is so beautiful, but after yesterday half the leaves blew off the trees before they even turned colour. It is still cold and windy. Hope you have a nice Sunday.
