Yes, it's time...
The gardens are flourishing
The last container planted
The table is open
and friends are waiting
Yes, it's time for a cool beverage
and a good book.
Bring on summer!
I'll meet you on the terrace in five....
May you find time to enjoy the fruits of your labor this week.
How lovely! ...I look forward to the day I have the last plant planted and can sit and relax! Dreamy! Cheers~
ReplyDeleteI love your photos - especially your drink dispenser. Is that homemade lemonade? Jx
ReplyDeleteI wonder what that deliciously refreshing-looking drink is Bonnie? Just lemonade?
ReplyDeleteI love your squirrel - do they really get close to you?
Your courtyard looks like a haven. If you ever need an extra guest...
Faisal, These squirrels are fearless! They know I am harmless although I act tough when I find one wrapped around a bird feeder. God love 'em.
DeleteWhat a pleasant spot to while away an afternoon with a good book. I'm off to check out that title.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I will be there, can't wait to see the luscious garden design in person . . .
ReplyDeleteEverything looks perfect and I would love to join you for some cool lemonade in your beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteI also finished my gardens last week with the final pot planted and the last of the mulch spread. I breathed a sigh of great relief. Then I went to my favorite nursery with my daughter to get some flowers for HER. Needless to say, I found something special that I did not have, but had to have for MY gardens. Then the rains came and my bushes grew another foot overnight. Gardens, like children, are never done and always need tender care and love.
Arleen I agree, the plants may be in the ground, but the gardening is never finished. I had to stop myself from dropping by the nursery on the way home this afternoon. Have a wonderful week. Bonnie
DeleteOn my way, Bonnie, on my way . . .
