June has planted her feet solidly on the ground
here at Living Life.
Things are beginning to show up for this year's garden party.
We have been blessed with plenty of rain
followed by the warmth of the warm southern sun
bursting open summer's crayon box.
Opening a brand new box of crayons is always the best!
I hope June is coloring you with a smile.

ReplyDeleteI love my garden best in June. You said it best, it is like opening a box of crayons and seeing all the new colors. The flowers are adolescents, beyond buds, and not tattered by the summers' hot sun.
ReplyDeleteYou picked some beautiful flowers to show us, Bonnie.
Such beautiful flowers! We're still waiting for warm weather, but I'm sure it's just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful example "opening a box of crayons". June is my favorite garden month of the year as well. Everything looks so beautiful at your home Bonnie. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful post and I like your analogy to crayons. So true and June IS a beautiful month to garden.) we are experiencing our first week of temps in the 80's here in the PNW :)
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie, how beautifully put is your post! "June firmly planting her feet..." wow.
ReplyDeleteI really like "Willie" on your sidebar; he is a pontificator, huh? I HAVE ONE IN MY HOME of the upright kind! Shhhh...teehehe
THANK YOU for coming to my post. My mum died on Father's Day, then my dad two weeks later. It's a tribute to both my parents.
Have a light-filled week and like you, we have had much rain but not too much sun, so my herbs are not growing as nicely as they should!
Anita
Ditto for here. Don't remember a prettier June. Everything is full and bursting with color.. love it! Enjoy your time off.
ReplyDeleteYour garden party is beautiful! I'm waiting for the warm sun to come our way....April showers have run into June. But there's nothing better than falling asleep to spring thunderstorms.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your summer off!
