Merry Christmas

I love waking up Christmas morning!
I am always the first one down.
Packages multiplied under the tree all through the night.

Santa's helper finishes filling stockings just before the first
footsteps are heard coming down the stairs.

And now it is time for me to wish all of you gentle people
a beautiful Christmas.  May all of your days be as magical
as the first light of Christmas morning.

Merry Christmas!

  3. Bonnie, I lost my reading list. That's usually where I go to look at blogs. I tried to find you this morning. Glad you popped up again. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Everything looks beautiful!

  5. Dear Bonnie, Happy Christmas to you. I share your pleasure in coming downstairs in the quiet of Christmas morning and anticipating the day ahead.
We give and receive books as presents, some suggested and others a surprise.
It has been a sad time for many in Britain this holiday time, with no electricity supply, houses flooded and plans spoilt. The electricity supply was restored in our hamlet for Christmas Day and we are thankful to be warm and dry and able to eat a cooked meal!
I'm sure that you and your family had a magical day.

  6. Dear Bonnie, Yes, it's lovely to come down in the quiet of the morning and anticipate all the pleasures of the day ahead. This Christmas many people in Britain are suffering floods and power cuts. Electricity has been restored in our hamlet so we are very fortunate to be warm and dry and well fed.
We have given and received books as presents, some requested, others a surprise - hours of pleasure to come.
I trust that you and your family have enjoyed a magical day!

  12. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Bonnie. One year our little ones slept in on Christmas morning. It was so strange to sit by the tree, coffee in hand, waiting for them to wake up.
