Earlier this week I drove out of my driveway into the fog.
Beautiful, mysterious, enveloping.
I could have easily allowed myself to be led astray,
but I had a destination and responsibilities.
For everyone living in the northeast, you have been in my thoughts.
I hope you are safe and warm, with a good book close at hand.
And may you wake to a crystal clear morning.

Our son lives in Providence. Fortunately, they were sent home from work around noon on Friday because very soon, three feet of snow fell on them! As of last evening, they had shoveled out the driveway and still had power.

Your fog photos are delish... we get fog here once in a while, but not often, I miss the "pea soup" fogs of Scotland, there is just something about the fog that puts a calmness on the moment! Cheers~
