Living in Florida I will miss the colorful days of Fall, but am awaiting cooler days here and the farmer's market will be open more often. Loved your photos and look forward to more!
I like fall also, heck, I like anytime that I am still breathing and vertical. However, we have had a marvelous summer (except for a week or two) and I am mourning its passing. I really am not ready to be raking leaves.
The weather is starting to change here in the PNW and soon the leaves will begin to change. We have a very pretty change of seasons here and I always look forward to it. Beautiful photos Bonnie! xxleslie
Hi Bonnie, I did not know you were born in Frankfurt. So you are a fellow citizen. Hope you will be able to visit Germany one day! I don't mind autumn, but I know what comes after that - winter - and the older I get the less I like it. I want sunshine and warm weather all the time. Heidi
Bonnie your lovely post certainly makes me look forward to the beautiful season that is just around the corner. I love that squirrel and there is nothing better than a piece of pecan pie. Thanks for getting me in the mood. Have a great day.
Bonnie, I'm waiting for the first day of spring, which falls on the equinox, not on the 1st of September, as the media believe. We have, though, had a very muddled winter, some of it the warmest on record, but also very wet, as we need it to be. That's a pecan pie, I believe? I hope you had lots of cream.
Great post. As I looked down at each photos caption remembering the joy of autumn then bam, the pecan pie. My favourite pie!

I am ready . . . my favorite time of the year!
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite time of year and love the September days leading up to it. Already the shadows are longer and the days are shorter.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Pecan pie almost makes all the gardening jobs worthwhile! I hope that your first few weeks of school are going well. Jx
